I Kill Giants

Thu May 14, 2009, 1:31 PM
I just finished Reading the collected trade of the comic book: I KILL GIANTS. I recommend this to any and everybody. Its a fantastic story about a 5th grade girl who's a giant slayer. I use the term Giant Slayer a little loosely. The book deals a lot with the psychosis of the human mind and how people cope with certain problems.

The story is written by Joe Kelly and drawn by Jm Ken Niimura. If you haven't read it go pick it up at your local comic shop (or wait until its scanned you pirating scum!) and enjoy as much as I did.

This book was amongst some of the best of read from the medium... I went to find more from Kelly like this but all I found was some Deapool, JLA, Supergirl, and the Ben Ten show... Kind of disappointing, I feel this may be pretty unique.

Try reading Four Eyes. Its on its 3rd issue now I think. Its a cool book about a young boy who's a dragon hunter. It has a really gritty and realistic vibe as well as some really nice art.

I was thinking of looking into that, but I somehow doubt after IKG that it will really stand up to it.

Well you never really know until the story fully ends but yeah, I agree. So far it doesn't come close to IKG but its still a good book.
